165 boxes and other items and there’s still more to pack but the end is in sight. By Sunday evening the house will be empty. I can’t believe how difficult its been to go through everything tucked away in the far corners of the house and decide what we’ll take to Fiji, what needs to be trashed, recycled, or donated to the Knights of Columbus annual garage sale, and what should go to the kids. I’ve found some real treasures including kids artwork from primary school, first pairs of shoes, and little girl party dresses. Almost every night Arthur and I head over to our sea can (located at Arthur’s friend’s airplane hanger) with another load of bins and boxes. Our sea can is now about two thirds full so we’re doing well.

That’s a lot of packing! I purged a lot of stuff when we thought we might move about 5 years ago. Like you commented, it was fun finding the treasures!
I am glad the end is in sight.
